GEO Webinar a Resounding Success

geologoNearly a thousand participants from across the United States and around the world joined the Geothermal Exchange Organization (GEO) for its webinar on Feb. 4, Geothermal Heat Pumps vs. Variable Refrigerant Flow Systems. Following an introduction by GEO President Doug Dougherty, Dr. Jeffrey Spitler (Oklahoma State University) and his research team presented their scientific research, which shows geothermal heat pumps 44% more efficient than variable refrigerant flow at the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) International Headquarters Building in Atlanta, GA. For more information about the study, please see Scientific Research Shows That Geothermal Heat Pumps Outperform VRF Heating and Cooling.
