GEO and Colorado Geo Energy & Heat Pump Association Publish GHP Consumer Confidence Survey

The Colorado Geo Energy and Heat Pump Association(CoGEHPA) joins GEO, Oak Ridge National Laboratory and IGSHPA on developing the first national certification standard for all primary personnel involved in the installation of GHP systems. The standard will be designed to increase customer confidence in the technology, reduce the potential for improperly installed systems, and assure product quality and performance.

The Colorado Geo Energy and Heat Pump Association(CoGEHPA) is conducting market research that will identify the essential framework elements of the standard. Results from the GHP Customer Confidence Survey will provide a better understanding of the consumer confidence issue so that the standard is as effective as possible in assuring high quality GHP installations.
