Where To Bring In Loop Field Piping

I've got a 1,400 sq ft ranch home on a slab that currently has an air-source split system HP. The indoor air handler is in our utility room which is about in the center of our house where the washer and dryer are located. I know that I could go with a split sytem geothermal unit, but I really like the idea of having a packaged unit with all the components out of the weather.

My question is how to bring the loops into that space. Is it best to make a penetration outside of the home, run the piping up walls and through the attic to drop down into the mechanical room? Or is there a way to horizontally bore under the house and come up through the slab in the utility room? Obviously a basement would be ideal, but we don't have one in our situation.

Any feedback or experience with this would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

you can bore and come up through the floor or drill a hole in basement wall. depends on what tools are available to you and what you wanna spend.
