I am coming from an older Hydron Module W2W heat pump that has a desuperheater installed and provides me with more domestic hot water than I can possibly use for much of the year. I am replacing that unit due to age, mostly because it is R-22 based. I'm looking at a WaterFurnace NDW 10 ton W2W system and the literature is confusing. In one section it says desuperheater is not an available option, but elsewhere it says "Secondary heat exchanger is needed for domestic hot water and pool/spa heating." Is anyone familiar with what they mean, and willing to explain it? Thank you
