I have a Waterfurnace NSW060 on a well system. Installed in 2015. Water intake is from one well and it dumps into another dump dedicated well (no pump in it). Wells are 110 ft deep. Pump is a variable speed. I'm located in 83429, Idaho. We have had a high snow year.

Question 1: When the WF purges I get a lot of water out of the dump well cap. It has happen only once before after a high snow year. Only in the spring after snowmelt. Is this abnormal or a function of the snowmelt and a high ground water level. Normal water ground water level in the well casing is about 8 ft below surface. Is just strange and wondering.

Question 2: The WF purges about every 30 minutes. Is this normal or is there something to check?

    Hi and welcome!
Return wells/dump wells sometimes need to be cleaned and re developed to better accept the water discharge. I would call your local driller and ask them what they think.
    Hope this helps

He wasnt concerned. So I thought I'd ask here. Well is 4 years old. Just seems odd... guess I'll chalk it up to high water table from the heavy snow this year (+7 feet)
