    I have been to KY.

    I knew about the limestone.

I wonder why the did not grout?

Rock is second only to water for heat transfer of stored solar energy we use in residential geothermal heating and cooling.

In your second year not grouted I think the field will get better with age. You could if they have not already fill the wells with water.

I asked them about grouting before install and they seemed to think it didn't work as well here and they never use it. They have done quite a few installs in the neighborhood, so I trust what they said was accurate.

Hopefully it will work better this year than it did last year (and it has so far, once I found a problem that was missed) and so far I'm happy with it.
