Pennsylvania Thermal Load Test on loop field

Discussion in 'Maintenance and Troubleshooting' started by Central Electric Cooperative - PA, Oct 30, 2015.

  1. I need to procure the services of someone who can perform a thermal load test on our geo loop field that will tell us exactly what is it's heating capacity. We have already performed a leak test and it passed. My company is in Parker, PA. Please contact Ken Maleski at 800-521-0570 X2172

There isn't a test I'm aware of that does such a thing - you may be thinking of FTC and BTR tests. Tests to determine thermoconductivity and thermal resistance.

For an in-situ system, ongoing monitoring of some of the key parameters would be the best option.

As an update, I spoke over the phone with these guys this a.m. I have them verifying their flows as a start.

Any experts in the area, they could use a hand of getting through the process of upgrading their system.
