I am being asked to test the PH level in the water/glycol in my ground loop.

The brine is already pink, the test kit I have for water shows pink to be high PH. If I add the drops to the pink fluid wouldn't it just get darker pink to purple in color showing very high PH?

How do you guys test the brine for PH?

I use test strips that check the PH and level of antifreeze protection. I have used spa chemicals to make any changes in PH that may be needed.
