I replaced my 7 year old heat pump last year. I took the tax credit in 2010.

Can take the tax credit for the replacement that was put in last year?

    Yep,
The residential tax credit is linked to heatpump installs. As long as you by a new heatpump, you can claim a new tax credit. The expenditure is not limited.
