I have an open loop pump and dump system the return pipe must be clogged (we live in a high iron area) because diverting the return water to a hose and out a window the unit Bosch geo unit stopped freezing up and runs. The return is only about an inch or inch and a half pipe. Seems odd under pressure like it is to clog completely. Anyone have any ideas??? Should I be reaching out to a plumber to try to snake it??? Thanks in advance
Nobody seems to want to touch it. Hvac guy points to well company well company points to plumber. Plumber says “geo-what??!!” I’m not touching that

no idea what the problem might be. but plumber who is curious/likes to troubleshoot is probably your best bet. HVAC guy would be useless (unless they are specifically knowledgeble in your exact setup) and most well guys want to work on stuff that is 4 to 6" diameter or larger. 1 to 1.5" diameter is more like a pipe size a plumber sees so they would have snake equipment to fit it
