I have my whole basement I installed in slab radiant heat running off my climate master water to water. I know most flooring can be installed over the slab if done properly, my question is in the movie theater I want to build a false floor with a platform in the entire rear to elevate the rear seating. While this completely eliminate the effectiveness of the radiant floor of there is an 8" air gap between the slab and finished floor or will the heat makes its way??

You won't really need any heat in a theatre room. You'll need cooling more than anything. If you do build a false floor, you can put in some small fans to help the air move out of the void.
