I am totally new to this. I am thinking about purchasing a house that has an in ground pool, that I won't use ( in northern Florida). Probably going to fill it in, so my thought was, is it feasible to run a closed horizontal loop in the bottom of the pool, before I fill it in? Or is that just crazy. It's an L shaped pool...about 450 sq. feet.

Kind of small area, specifically in A/C dominated Florida. Plus the fill needs to be saturated with water, or density compact around the pipe. If your A/C LOAD IS VERY SMALL, it might have some merit, unlikely in an existing house....

Thank you for your input...I will have to think about another use for that space. May do a deck over.
