I'm a un-certified Swimming Pool Pump Specialist due to being a past Full Sized In Ground Pool owner operator, plus I did my own electrical wiring to the pool light and pump.
This pump will move as much water as you dare push through your unit. It has an easy to switch 120vac/220vac capability. I used my pump in the 220 vac mode by borrowing my water heater 220 vac timer output to power the pump.

 

Directions for Form 5695:
This refers to the heat pump MANUFACTURE'S certificate. The heat pump has to fulfill the Energy Star efficiency criteria in order to qualify for the tax credit.

like doc, I have been installing heat pump (loops) for many years. I have never heard of a Heat Pump License. Any contractor needs a contractor license. The contractor license is not tied to doing heat pumps. Ingrams sells a lot heat pumps, I don't think they install them. My guess is either Ingrams mis-spoke or you mis-heard.

Who would have thought that someone who deals in Geothermal Heat Pump sales daily wouldn't know what he was talking about...
All would do well to assume this is the case as often as not. Systems are very expensive and buyers should beware. Better to ask questions before the purchase, much easier to handle things proactively.
The Ingrams guy may have been suggesting that a certified installer needed to be involved for warranty purposes. All internet sales guys (and their customers) are finding that it is difficult to get a pro to do warranty work on equipment purchased by mail and self installed.

 

Sorry if it felt like piling on. There is enough bad info floating around about geosystems that we do want people to find it here.

 

This is a bit hippocratic. Steve was asking for help with his gurgling flow center. YOU were the one suddenly talking about geo licenses and tax credit, going off topic. You piled on, since you were not only going off topic but also completely wrong about what you were writing.

I called Ingrams to check on the price of an Inverter/Variable Speed Compressor 4 ton heat pump made by Daikin. The salesman gave me a high $3,000 range but I knew this was too cheap to be the a variable speed compressor unit, so I began asking him to check on the features of the unit. Not long after that he had to call his Suppliers to get more details so he could give me a price quote.
The next day he left me an email, the unit wasn't ready available from Daikin but Geo Comfort had one for $8,000 plus dollars. My reply was that I would wait until the price dropped closer to the value of the Variable Speed Compressor & Inverter, for now the research and development costs were more than I wanted to pay for a Geothermal Heat Pump. The fact that my current Unit is working like new, also played into my decision.

My name is on all of the documents from Chesapeake Energy. Bible johnny (kasich) and everyone in the state gov is aware since I informed all of them by mail and email. The news won't carry this since Bj is a Chesapeake Energy governor that they would like to have in the White House. If I'm successful he will be in the Big House by 2017.

I have played gas and oil in Ohio for 50 years. I would not worry about Chesapeake, he got his money and stopped playing. Your money is gone as shale gas now rules. Mr Peabody is gone too.

Surprise, your gov will be in the Big House well before the election, but you can vote for him if you want. I notified the FBI August 2014 after I notified Bible johnny of Chesapeake's theft and the laws they are in violation of.
Homeland Security and the FBI can look into bank records and all conversations that took place by phone are stored. Busted!

This theft is Shale Oil, Natural Gas and the Natural Gas Liquids which are being taken out of Ohio with no royalty payment. Chesapeake's Revenue Department thought I was a farmer and sent me a legal size spreadsheet of how they are conducting the theft. I put it on line, now it's in my Complaint, and the PA Attorney General Included it as evidence in PA AG vs Chesapeake Complaint. I figure the US Department Of Justice took a copy off of the internet for their records since they Subpoenaed Chesapeake for their records in 2014, around August from my memory. Coincidence, maybe.

You'll find that I never get angry. I'm so nice that people target me for theft, since some consider a sociable person to be gullible. I'm the Master at recovering the money contractors have tried to cheat me out of by changing their hourly rate after the work was done. I have a legal plan for this if you ever need one. I've always given better than I received in the work place, but I won't go into the details.

I was testing the waters for the Daikin variable speed compressor unit. The price quote I got was high but in line with another persons recent purchase, but as I said I'll be waiting for the price for R&D to come down.

In the near future I'll take you up on a Geothermal purchase offer. I want to install for some friends soon.
