I think at this stage, you probably need boots on the ground.

Not necessarily a service call. We do system inspections where we can take the homeowner through their equipment and the process. I'm sure you can find someone local to do that as well.

Maybe not use who you have been using as it sounds like they are not communicating enough.

 

on the stuck on "auxilliary heat on" my t-stat, i read one thread from another forum that it was due to bad t-stat...any opinion on whether that may be an option?

I have a similar size house and similar heat pump arrangement. Well close anyway.
