Thanx Doc! So 2 bores in series for a close header with 6 conections instead of 12 makes more sense, I will go check my software.

Yep, pressure drop goes from 17.3 to 21.5 ft/hd, which is not a big deal, but with 6 circuits you have pretty good turbulent flow, when with 12 circuits you would have essentially none.

That’s The same direction I was pointed in when I had a similar problem in the past too.
It’s been a few years and no issues.
Also heard of other system with the same installations performing well too.

    Thank you all!
I am as guilty as everyone for falling into a rut. Same day, same loop, same hook up scheme. This is the first special circumstance I have done in quite some time. The brain was rusty from being on auto pilot.

How goes it with you Dan?

    I have been doing well.
Geo really slowed down for us when the rebates left. I have been getting calls and questions recently though, so that’s good.
Currently finishing up the Tie-in of a large residential home today.
Sounds like your newest drill rig is doing well too.

Just a update as the client is back from Florida and shared some data on the install. I definitely over looped this job. The data collected thus far indicates the loop field is performing more like an open loop. It recovers very quickly and the lowest recorded temp all winter was 45 degrees incoming. The client was gone for 3 weeks with heat on 50. This summer I hope to collect more data and report back.
