Question, i have had to replace the double pump station twice in the last 6 years, the plastic impellers disintegrates, i know i have a leak at the manifold, i will dig it up and fix, the water i pumped out of the ground loop was so muddy that i can only assume the dirt in the water is whats destroying the impellers, can i get all the mud out of the unit just by flushing? The ground loop will be a challenge to get all the mud out, i am thinking about replacing the ground loop, any advice appreciated
Hi and welcome! You can flush the loop and clean the fluid using a filter before returning it to the loop field. Start with a very coarse filter and work your way down to finer filters as you go till cleaning is achieved. This should be done after you fix your leak/entry point for the mud. Hope this helps Eric
