I'm looking for opinions on mhp, good units or trouble just waiting. There still cheap and I can order and install myself. (As long as I don't get to old or feeble) Yes, I'm still waiting for my fhp to die. I checked inside this morning and the sides of the exchanger are all rusted.... leading me to believe it could be soon. I'm running a 2.5 ton and using 1.5 gph per ton as Im utilizing a pump and dump open loop. Is that still acceptable? Any and all opinions / answers are appreciated.
I wish we would talk more about this topic, but it seems like things are quiet on this forum. Im always worried about the day the heat stops….and I have a catostrophic failure. It would be nice to just order 1 and have it shipped. Install is a remove replace hopefully.
