Water Furnace Series 5 (less than 4 years old), 4 zone controlled by Intellizone (old model, Series 5 replaced older Premier 2). Unit has performed flawlessly until several days ago. At that time I noticed that the house was very hot, all thermostats (which were set on heat) were registering way over their set point (68 degrees) and, my energy monitor indicated that I was using a crazy amount of power. Intellizone indicated that no zones were requesting heat. Auxiliary heat strip appears to be stuck in a permanently on state even with all thermostats set to off. I had to shut the unit at the circuit breaker panel to shut off the auxiliary heat. Has anyone ever experienced something like this?
