The system is a 4.5 ton Water Furnace Envision that was brought on line last winter. I was supposed to have 4 x 200' vertical loops. A bit was broken in the drilling process so I ended up with 3 x 200', 1 x 140' and 1 x 100'. We had a spring cleaning / inspection today. The temperature of incoming water in the loop was 63F and outgoing was 70F while the unit was cooling. The system was cooling 74F air to 43F. Thanks for your advice.
I believe a header was used. Thanks for the feedback. How expensive are the tools to check temperature on the loops? I would like to be able to check them myself.
"The system was cooling 74F air to 43F." That's approaching double the standard cooling delta T on the airside. It is a recipe for sweating ducts and associated mold / mildew, inefficiency, and coil icing Nowhere near enough airflow, or a runaround bypass damper is stuck open.
