How close to house, sidewalk, driveway can you drill?

I live in West Virginia where we are flat-ground challenged! I have a fairly small front yard. I need 3-250' vertical loops 15 feet apart for a 3 ton unit. Space is at a premium. How close to the house, patio, sidewalk, driveway can they drill? Does it create lots of vibration during the process?

The back yard is not really an option (drops off at nearly 45 degrees).

    Thanks in advance.

We have drilled 10 feet from a house before and 2 feet from a driveway. Your best bet is to get a local driller to come and look at your project.

Thanks. I found a driller last night who is coming to look at my front yard tonight.

We drilled 1 foot away from the driveway, and 3 ft away from the house. I guess drilling through what kind of ground and how deep the rock is, as well as the kind of equipment can make a difference. I am no drilling expert.

Thanks. The driller did come to the house last night. He can drill within 12' of the foundation. Turns out he can get all three holes in a single line (12' apart) in the front yard. My only challenge now is the above ground wires (power, phone, and cable) for my neighbor's house would need to come down for 3-4 hours for the first hole. Now I have to be REALLY nice to my neighbor and beg for their approval! ;)

We have drilled with in 5' of a house numberous times. We drill very regularly in close proximity of driveways and sidewalks all the time.
We drill mud rotary which is less vibration than air rotary, but I don't think that should make too much of a difference either.

You always should be nice to your neighbors! 12' apart will negatively impact your performance. Can't you go further. I shoot for 15, or even ask for 20' to 30'. Could you offset them?
