Geothermal heat pumps and Radiant, a good match or a poor one?

    You should be sensing at the tank and running that independent of the floor pumps as stated.

    I think it may just look that way in the picture. I double checked and it is horizontal to the floor.

    that is also a big problem, the sensor for the ranco needs to be sensing the water temperature in the bottom third of the tank, preferably in a well or as a second option take the lower element panel off and make a hole off to the side in between the steel inner tank & the foam insulation with a screwdriver (make sure power is off!) into which the sensor can be inserted.
