May I ask what Geocalc tool are you using?

If you have the space a pond works great, otherwise a second well will work just fine. You will need to check on certain codes for your state, such as distance between the wells. In Nebraska the wells must be a minimum of 100 feet from one another. Another thing to check out is the quality of your water. If it is high in magnesium or iron, or it has an iron bacteria, the secondary well would be a poor choice. The screens in the well will corrode shot over time and will no longer take water. In this case your best option would be the pond. Either way it sounds like you need to contact a professional in your area to reroute the dump line to either a secondary well or a pond.
