When my wife and I purchased our house we had a small pond about 10 feet from the house. I filled the pond with about 150 feet of 4" drainage tile. Then I covered it with gravel and top soil. The water is still flowing out of this area like crazy. I have a spring box that we piped directly into the 4" tile and now the tile can not handle the flow. How many gallons per minute do I need per ton? Thanks
Hi and welcome, Your geo system will require between 1.5 and 3 gpm per ton depending on how you set up your unit in regard to performance based on the differential between ewt and lwt. Several spring driven systems have been discussed here as well as some artesian well apps.
