I purchased this new house over a year ago. It came with a climate master 4ton tranquility 27 with a horizontal loop system in the front yard. This unit runs non stop when the weather drops below 30degrees and it costs me almost 20 dollars a day paying 14 cents a kWh. I have ran with the auxiliary units disconnected and it doesn’t make a difference. My house is 2400 sq feet with high ceilings and I do have a basement. We have 3 zones and use 2 of them through the winter... what am I missing? Why are my winter bills 500 to 600???

Def need more data, ewt, lwt, etc. How do you know it's not using the strips? Did you measure the amp draw? Although it doesn't help that you're paying 14 cents per KWH.
