I have a Climatemaster Tranquility 30 Digital (TE) Series IOM with ATC32U03 communicating thermostat. It is about 5 years old and everything works fine except the dehumidifying mode never seems to activate. The thermostat is set to dehumidify. Thanks for any thoughts.
I came upon this looking for answers on my system related to cooling and dehumidification. . First off do you have "climadry ?". I found out the hard way that I didn't. You will either have to look for the label stating that on the unit, or call Climate master with the SN to have them check. It doesn't show up on the model number for that option. You can set the thermostat for it through the installer menu even though you don't have it installed. If it was installed you would have to have DIP 1.5 ON and 2.7 OFF on the DXM2 control board in the unit. This would have to be done with the power OFF. But DO NOT DO THIS if you are not sure it has it. As I found out the hard way this will interfere with the operation of you cooling fan speed, throwing nuisance code 5 low temperature air faults. Since the supplier apparently did not supply me with what I was told it had, I set it and ran around in circles after a heating season of flawless operation. First time cooling started the headaches began. Hope my experience helps you out.
