I have a Climatemaster Tranquility 30 (TT) Series installed 2013. The unit works great but I keep having a reoccuring problem with fan control modules, Ist time 2015, second time 2019, & now 2020. After the first time, I installed a surge protector on the incomming service line but apparently that didn't help. Climatemaster replace the first module without question, the second module they grumbled but did replace it. I have not contacted them yet for this time. For such a good working unit, I cannot understand why they have such a fragile part. If it is voltage surgess, why can a digital and a computor not be effected. The furnace was not running when the probable surge happened because the thermostat notified me of the problem when I turned the heat up in the evening. By the way the computor is on all the time.
I just wonder how many ECM's of their's has gone bad. What makes me say they suck is because if it was a GE, I could repair it, but they have the adacity to pour a bakelight product around the whole inside which means the only answere is to replace.
