any way to find out leght of existing loop field?

when we bought the house we were told the loop was 3x 315 feet so 900 feet

I have no idea if that is true and the owner was in his late 70's he couldn't so me exatly were the wells are at

I cannot find the well heads anywhere, so it must all be under ground, is there any company that can draw the fliud out or run a camera down there to measure ?


are system is needing replaces and 3 estimate have given us 3 differnet Tonnage (from 3 to 5)

not sure what to do now they all really the loop info for age and exaclt lenght but i dont have info. I reach out to the owners hoping they have someinfo or can at least point me to the installers but i'm not hopfule

 

Go by the current tonnage and you should be good. With those measurements, probably 5 ton max.

 

Thank you the only issue is I dont know the current unit and cannot find it online at all ( i have another thread for this)

 

What is the complete nameplate on the unit, not just the make and model number but also the voltage and current rating including Full Load Amps (FLA), etc.

 

Where are you located? The length itself could easily support 5 tons, but what is the grout, the pipe size and the borehole diameter.

Any idea what the temperatures of the income water is?
