SMC Geothermal
SMC Geothermal is the culmination of over 30 years in the energy efficient construction industry. We have been involved with Super Insulated, Earth Bermed, Solar, Geothermal Ground Source and many different types of construction for our clients. With the ever rising cost of energy and building heating/cooling costs, there is not a better time to look closely at high efficiency heating and cooling equipment. There have been many new innovations in heating/cooling equipment and building materials in the past few years that SMC has been associated with.
SMC has been involved in many of the newest systems and concepts over the years, and is positioned to continue this trend in the future. We are currently working with several national manufacturers, whom we consider to be the world’s leaders in geothermal technology and innovation.
SMC is an Accredited Business with the Denver/Boulder – Better Business Bureau and holds a directorship of the Colorado Geothermal Energy Heat Pump Association (COGEHPA) and a seat on the Geothermal Heat Pump Advisory Council for the Colorado Governor’s Energy Office. We are also members of the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association and look forward to new and expanded participation in the national programs of Energy Star and LEED.
SMC is currently involved in several different projects ranging from numerous single family homes to commercial properties of varying sizes. We typically get involved with the projects from the concept stage with the architects to installing and commissioning the systems.
