4th Annual Illinois Geothermal Conference
The Geothermal Alliance of Illinois (GAOI) will convene its 4th Annual Illinois Geothermal Conference on March 10-12 at the Doubletree Hotel and Conference Center in Bloomington, IL. The event begins with a preconference seminar on proper HVAC/geo system sizing and duct sizing and design. Jerry Faw of Adtek is the primary instructor. Joining Jerry will be Brian Kumer of Thermal Imaging Systems, who will cover duct pressure testing and the Illinois energy code requirements on ducting.
Registration on March 10 begins at 9 a.m., with training starting at 10 a.m.

The Illinois loop installer certification exam will be given during the conference, following a review session. GAOI accreditation exams will be given at the conclusion of the conference.
