In this two day course, Dr. Steve Kavanaugh guides attendees from system fundamentals and project guidelines all the way through to hands on advanced design techniques.
The class explores various system types, describes the characteristics of successful projects and develops a timeline to organize key players. Hands on design problems using GHPCalc software help attendees learn design best practices and see design requirements from start to finish. Bring your questions and get them answered by an expert with 25 years of geothermal experience and the data to back it up. Dr. Kavanaugh is an ASHRAE Fellow who has been involved with ground source heat pump research and development for over 20 years. He is a co-author of the ASHRAE book, Ground Source Heat Pumps: Design of Geothermal Systems for Commercial and Institutional Buildings. |
