- Certified GeoExchange Designer
Delta-Montrose Electric Association is pleased that an increasing number of homes in its service territory are benefiting from the affordable comfort provided by GeoExchange systems. In late 2000, DMEA saw GeoExchange technology reach the “Century Mark”—more than one hundred homes in our area are fueling with Mother Nature. DMEA has now installed close to 500 GeoExchange systems on the Western Slope for homes in Montrose, Delta, Ouray, and Mesa counties.
You want to provide your family year round comfort at an affordable price. To help you realize this goal, DMEA has an exciting offer for you. For a nominal fee you can bring the blue prints of the home you plan to build to one of DMEA’s Energy Analysts. They’ll examine your home’s features—square footage, R values for walls, ceiling, floors, and make recommendations for energy saving opportunities which offer tremendous cost-savings over the life of your home.
In addition, they’ll run a computer model and show you what your home would cost to heat and cool on an annual basis depending on the heating and cooling system you choose. They’ll also give you a very accurate computer model estimate of what your home would cost to heat and cool using GeoExchange technology, the most energy efficient and economical according to the U.S. EPA.
So be sure to learn about energy saving options and compare what GeoExchange would mean to your family’s finances. You’ll see that it’s nice to fuel with Mother Nature!
To schedule an appointment with a DMEA Energy Use Supervisor, call DMEA at (970)249-4571 (970)874-8081 or contact us via email at webmaster@dmea.com. We want to provide your family with affordable comfort—naturally!
