Optimal Energy, LLC is a full service HVAC consulting and contracting firm specializing in geothermal (ground source) heating and cooling systems for residential, commercial and institutional buildings. We are a “geothermal company”, and not just an HVAC company that installs the occasional geothermal system. More than 90% of our work is designing and installing geothermal systems.

We have been installing geothermal systems in the Greater Chicago/northern Illinois area for nearly 10 years, and have installed more than 170 systems. we have the in-house capability to provide all phases of the geothermal system installation including but not limited to:
