IEG was formed in 2003 by Don Penn, P. E. as a result of increasing business with local Independent School District Facilities with his original company - Don Penn Consulting Engineer (DPCE).

We are unique to the MEP Engineering Consulting Business in that all our Designers are trained to be well versed in all aspects of MEP Design, thus minimizing coordination issues between the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineering Disciplines.
